Laymack Transport & Logistics
From its humble beginnings in 2017, Laymack Transport Services as an organization started out with a medium-sized DAF truck that was transporting various goods in and around Bulawayo. In 2019, it acquired a 30-tonne truck which was subsequently contracted to PPC Zimbabwe Limited to transport various items in Zimbabwe.
In 2020, two more trucks were acquired to increase the fleet to four, and then in 2021 to date, the fleet is at eight trucks. Over the years, the division also acquired one low bed; two link trailers, and two tri-excel trailers.
In addition, the division entered a contract with PPC Zimbabwe Limited, where PPC Zimbabwe Limited provided three bulk tankers for use by Laymack Investments Transport and Logistics, whilst transporting bulk cement around the country.
Laymack Security Services
Laymack Security Services was formed in the year 2000 to provide a variety of security services in Zimbabwe. Since then, the company has penetrated many sectors in the commercial, retail, domestic, manufacturing, mining, and banking sectors.
It provides services that include the following:
- Guarding
- Roving Investigations
- Escort of cash in transit
Its staff complement has over 60 well-trained and well-informed employees who have the capacity to deal with any security issues in the areas mentioned above.
Laymack Security services deploy guards into the market without any manner of compromise on the quality of service(s) rendered.
Laymack Labour Broking Services
Laymack Investments commenced operations in the year 2007 offering general labor services at PPC and other small mines in Gwanda.
It has since spread its wings to Unkie mine where it provides artisans on a regular basis. Laymack Investments has managed to maintain its long-term customers due to its unparalleled commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Laymack has managed to serve its customers during a harsh economic environment when most companies could not accept payment in kind during the hyper-inflationary period.
